January, 2023 Update
Welcome to 2023 on behalf of BSPTS-North America Teaching Team. Always in evolution, we have had many changes! The Schroth Barcelona Institute (SBI) is now BSPTS-North America!
When Dr. Rigo founded the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (an evolution of Schroth), he invited Amy, Beth, Cindy, and Patti to represent his School in North America. We are proud of the tremendous strides they have made in bringing the Rigo Concept to the US and Canada. They have been part of the training of more than 300 therapists and will be an important part of the future of the school.
Throughout a decade of growth and change…one thing has remained constant: Dr. Rigo. He is a physician, orthotist, researcher, educator, visionary, and mentor. Dr. Rigo remains steadfast in his commitment to developing and increasing the school’s knowledge. Soon you will receive new content, videos, and courses to help you as clinicians to improve the quality of life for scoliosis patients: “Treating the person, not just the curve (Dr. Rigo).”
